Triadic Arpeggios with String Skipping
Transforming the arps into string skipping patterns
Instead of sweeping through arpeggios we'll do some stringskipping on them. It'll sound interesting and allow you to play arpeggios in a different way.
The main difference here is that the fingering positions are arranged so that there are is an empty string in the fingering which you do not play. While playing you have to skip it. Hence the name of the technique - stringskipping. Pretty rad, huh?
The E Major arp
Check out the fingering position of the E major arpeggio! There's two - one with the root on the A string and one with the root on the D string. They're exactly the same so it's easy to learn them both.
